Granados app for iPhone and iPad

Editorial Boileau presents the Granados App, the first mobile App with the complete piano works by Enrique Granados. Using the App you can choose any or all of the 254 pieces by Granados. You may purchase the complete piano works or only the works which interest you, and all at very affordable prices. Each of the scores is digitalized and perfectly prepared by the widely respected music publisher, Bolieau. The complete Granados piano works were revised by the world-famed pianist Alicia de Larrocha and the preparation and documentation of the edition was under the direction of the pianist and musicologist Douglas Riva.

The Granados App has an intuitive interface which permits the user to select and purchase any or all scores by Granados, from the most emblematic works as well as the least known. The works are divided into various volumes (as in the printed edition) and includes all texts and important commentaries by Granados himself as well as a brief history and biography of the composer giving a complete understanding of this great musician. All works contain an indication of the level of difficulty, the duration and the sources consulted (manuscripts and/or first editions).
The Granados App is easy to use:

• The user can listen to and preview the works before purchasing the scores.
• Once purchased the score becomes part of the users personal library which may be used at any time or place.
• The App allows you to add annotations to all scores using your finger, a stylus or with the keyboard.
• You can share your annotations with other users who also have the same scores in their libraries.
• Using Bluetooth you can connect a device to turn the pages of each score without using your hands.
• The App includes biographies of the composer and of those responsible for the edition (Alicia de Larrocha y Douglas Riva) as well as a brief history of the publisher, Editorial Boileau.
• Also included is extensive information about the editorial criteria of the edition and a guide for complete understanding of the editorial comments included with each work.
• Although the App is highly intuitive a Help Menu is also included.

As noted in the index of the works, the majority of the scores included may be purchased individually. Only those works which are grouped together in a collection or those that are very brief are sold together.
